The Most Dangerous Coffee Shop- A Role Play

Take pointed up, “Something happened on the sheep dogs side and that girl flew up. I had Kipp fly up and get her back down here with everyone else.” he explained to her. He had just noticed that Kit was at their feet.
Wait when did he get here?
"This is why I told everyone to stay calm!" Blair snapped, craning her head to catch sight of them. But she couldn't. Even the billions of stars stretching across the vast indigo-darkness of the night sky wasn't enough to light up the hovering figures of Annie and Kipp.
She felt Kit brush by her leg, her ears pricked up and listening. She clearly understood her owner was distressed.
"What is something happens to them up there?" She frantically looked back at Take. Normally she would never panic in a stressed situation, but this, for some reason, made her anxiety flair. "Down here, I'm useless if something happens! Who knows, there were trees that attacked us, caused us to have hallucinations. What if there is some sort of flying creature or something? What if they get lost and can't find their way back?!"

(oop I called Kit a he.. sorry)

Take cautiously watched at Blair starting to grow anxious and unstable. He faced her and took her wrists in his hands loosely, “Calm down Blair” he said seriously, looking into her golden eyes, “I’ve had my eyes on them this entire time, and I won’t let anything happen to them while they’re up there.. Plus I can throw myself up there if something were to happen.” he added in a comforting voice as he tried to reassure her. His third eye stayed glued on Annie and Kipp.

(It's alright :p)

It was something in his tone and demeanor and the way he held her wrists as if to stop her from panicking, that grounded Blair, kept her anxiety from flying through the roof. "Okay, okay," she took a few slow breaths, her golden gaze flickering up to his. "Okay. I'm sorry," her tone was a murmur, her hand shaking slightly in his. "I don't normally...get like this. It's just...I can't see them and it's making me nervous. I'm sorry for panicking."

"Huh? Oh...yeah, fine. Just...rather not die out here alone." Fox gave a nervous laugh, glancing at her for a moment, before looking back at his feet so he wouldn't trip.

"Hey!" Blair's voice was sharp, barking. "Everyone calm down!" She turned around, coming to stand beside Take. "What happened? Where's Kipp?"

Clary watched him out of the corner of her eye. “No ones going to die. I’ll make sure of that.” she said, offering him a small smile. “If having some sort of weapon would make you feel better, I’ve got a knife you can borrow,” she reached for her pocket, but it was empty. Her brow furrowed. “Darn it, Davis,” she muttered under her breath, and then looked up at Fox. “Never mind, I guess I left it at home.”

"Don't worry about it. Thank you, though," Fox returned her smile, before suddenly coming to a halt as the group slowed down. Someone was panicking, and he felt it. He felt the waves of anxiety that nearly threatened to overwhelm him, forcing him to take a few steps back. "Who's freaking out? What's wrong?"

“Hey no worries, you just had a lot on your shoulders” Take smiled a bit, “Remember, you got us to help you out.” he pointed out, referring to the rest of the group. He squeezed her wrists slightly to play with her, then letting go.

"Thank you, Take." Blair said softly, smiling when he gently squeezed her wrists, before letting them fall to her side. She turned, moving to stand beside him, hoping then she could see Kipp and Annie. She could make out two slightly darker shapes in the midst of the stars, hovering quite a bit above the canopy of the trees. She released a breath she hadn't realized she was holding, her eyes trained on them. They're safe. Why am I such a idiot? There was no reason to freak out like that.

Clary stopped, looking at Fox with a worried expression. “What’s wrong? Are you okay?” She asked, her hand reaching out to grab him if he ran or fell. She looked over at the rest of the group. They all were acting fine to her. “Maybe-maybe you should sit down for a minute. I’ll make sure no one leaves without us.” She said, gesturing to the ground.

Take nodded to Blair, and tilted his head up towards the sky, putting his full attention towards the two youngsters in the sky.

His face started to grow warm at what he had just did. It wasn’t like himself to comfort someone like that, especially so weirdly intimate. He just never experienced anything like it.

What’s with me?

Fox gritted his teeth, looking down at her. I hate when people ask me that question...honestly.
"I'm fine. Fine. I just thought something had happened, that's all." He forced a smile, straightening up. Whoever had panicked must have calmed down, his fear easing. "What is this hold up?"
