The Most Dangerous Coffee Shop- A Role Play

Annies face burned hot and red,

"I'm sorry." She repeated hanging her head her teeth dug into her bottom lip. "I'm ok." she said quietly.

Kipp stood dusted the broken moss bits off his clothes.

"I'm fine." He said as cheerfully as he could. He thought the little 'Tinkerbell' girl was difficult to be around when she was cheerful, but some how it was worse when she was upset. "You'd probably be scared of everything too if you were bite sized." He said waving his hand over Annies head like he might pat it.

"Hey!" she yelled batting his hand away. "I'm not that short!"
Blair would have laughed, if she didn't feel a pang of guilt for yelling at her. "I guess I would. I don't have that problem, so I don't quite know what it feels like. I'm sorry, Annie." She gave the girl a small smile, and moved past her, her hand resting on Annie's shoulder just briefly as she passed. "Alright, everyone! Let's keep moving."

Cam glanced at the smaller girl. Tinkerbelle was a good nickname for Annie. She wondered if Annie found it offensive though.
Probably not. The girl was smiling widely.
“I wish I could fly,” she said. As they stepped into open moor, flying would have been a lot easier.
"Hmmm, it has it's ups and downs." Annie said smiling at the pun. "It would be so much cooler to be able to make plants grow though. I usually only fly when I'm really in a hurry, I'd probably use your power more often."

If I were you, I’d fly for fun, Cam thought. “I do use my powers often,” she said. “You should see my garden.”

Rylie was far ahead of everyone, romping through the grass of his own accord. Kyle decided he didn’t mind. The stretch of trees which had been south of them was slowly edging north.
“I think we might need to find a path.”
When Blair entered the field, she paused for a moment. The wind had stopped, the plane falling into a uneasy silence. No crickets singing their songs. No owls calling out or coyotes howling after a successful kill.
It unnerved her.
Still, she listened for any noises or any scents she may recognize. They had to keep going straight, she knew that much. "A path through the woods? Out here? That's a slim chance."

Take caught up with Kyle and the others after the whole flying off ordeal was settled. He sighed as he looked up at the crescent moon. The extensive area of moor was dead silent and all he could hear were the footsteps of the group.

"I should! Where do you live any way? We should totally get together all of us after this is done and hang out!"
“Ohio,” Cam said proudly. But could they really? She doubted she would see them again after all of this was done and over.

“Some way of getting through the evil trees then?” Kyle asked. They were just on the outskirts of the trees now, and the forest was bristling visually. They were even denser and thicker here than the other part of the forest, and were undamaged by the locusts.
“Maybe I could clear a path?” Cam offered, though she shuddered at the thought of entering that dark, evil place.

The dark, bristling trees struck dread into Blair, her golden eyes narrowing at the sight of them. She didn't show it though, instead nodding to Cam. "If you can. Just be careful."

Ellie stumbled in the dark towards the mesmerising lights of far off phones. She heard something remotely like a owl and freaked out. “Calm yourself Ellie, Calm, calm” She chanted Fred snuck up behind her and tapped Ellie’s shoulder. “Ahhhhh” She let out a scream and sprinted towards the group getting snagged in thorns and bushes. She reached the group looking like she’d walked out of a horror film. Her brown hair was sticking out like she’d been electrocuted and her eyes wide and scared, her skin was paler than usual. Fred shrugged looking at Ellie who was sprinting madly away from him “What’s her problem?” He said shaking his head with a sigh.
