The Most Dangerous Coffee Shop- A Role Play

Fox gritted his teeth, looking down at her. I hate when people ask me that question...honestly.
"I'm fine. Fine. I just thought something had happened, that's all." He forced a smile, straightening up. Whoever had panicked must have calmed down, his fear easing. "What is this hold up?"

“I’m sorry, I didn’t mean to make you upset.” Clary said. She could tell he didn’t like her questions, and backed off the subject, even though inside she was screaming at herself that he was not okay and to try to help him.
Clary shown her light around the rest of the group, counting the heads. “I think we’re missing a few people.” She said frowning.

"It's okay, it's fine. Really." Fox reassured her, glancing over the group. He lifted his light, looking over them. "We're missing Kipper and Annie," he murmured, before looking upwards. "They're right there."

Kipp nodded and tried not to roll his eyes. He hopped forward a couple steps flapping his wings to get airborne. She really wasn't that high, but it was high enough to be annoying. Each beat of his wings seemed to suck the heat out of him.

"Not an owl too!" He heard her squeak, just as she turned and bolted away from him.

"I'm not an owl." He growled loudly. "Would you get back to the group? You're gonna get lost."
Annie stopped flying away and tried to peer through the darkness toward the voice.

"I thought..." heat rose in her cheeks how could she be so on edge, nothing bad was going to happen, not while they were all together. "Sorry. I don't know what I thought. I'm just," Don't say, don't say it. "The dark kinda freaks me out." She admitted trying to laugh it off. Only babies are scared of the dark. "You don't seem to mind it though." She waited for him to say something she really couldn't make out where he was, just that he was close by.

----------

Kipp didn't know what to say, she seemed overly embarrassed for something she couldn't even control.

"I can see in the dark." He looked down at the people below some staring up others oblivious to them. "I guess, you probably can't see to land." He said, trying to get closer to her with out hitting her with his wings.

"Uhhh, I'm sure I could make it to the ground."

A small smile crossed his face, "Gravity works?" he was trying to be funny, but the girl seemed to be more embarrassed than she was before.

"Here, I'll help you." He reached forward and took her arm, pulling the small girl toward him. Annie let out a tiny squeak and fell on to his chest hugging him tightly around his ribs, she folded her own wings back so she wouldn't hit him with them.

This was a bad idea. He thought to himself, struggling to keep the two of them in the air. Slowly, slowly! He yelled in his head hoping it would slow their decent.

They hit the ground hard with a few hops on his part to try to keep her from getting hurt. They finally came to a stop with him on his back in a surprisingly soft patch of moss, with twigs stuck through his hair.

"Sorry. You ok?" He asked trying to push her up off of him. Adrenaline had his heart racing and her pinning him down wasn't helping. How am I still alive? Never fly with others. It's a bad idea. Very bad idea.

"Yeah, yeah I'm fine. Thank you."

Take had been watching the whole thing, making sure that Kipp landed as safely as he could with Annie on him. Once they were back on the ground, Take went over to the two and thanked Kipp for helping Annie get back down.

“No more flying off. Okay Tinkerbell?” he scolded.

Cam glanced at the smaller girl. Tinkerbelle was a good nickname for Annie. She wondered if Annie found it offensive though.
Probably not. The girl was smiling widely.
“I wish I could fly,” she said. As they stepped into open moor, flying would have been a lot easier.

Clary gave him one last concerned look and then shined her light up at Kipp and Annie. “What’re they doing up there?” She said under her breath, frowning.

Blair reached them second before Take, seething. "How could you do something so stupid?!" She snapped, eyes glowering a fierce yellow-gold in the darkness, her voice harsh.
Then suddenly a little sense was knocked into her, and she took a step back. She thought, oddly, of Isabelle, how instead of blowing up like a volcano, she became stoic and firm, but not mean. A pang of longing hit her, but she shook it off. "You can't do that, Annie. It's dangerous," she said, her voice softer and gentler. "Are the both of you alright?"

"No, not in the dark anyway. Sorry I took off."

Annies face burned hot and red,

"I'm sorry." She repeated hanging her head her teeth dug into her bottom lip. "I'm ok." she said quietly.

Kipp stood dusted the broken moss bits off his clothes.

"I'm fine." He said as cheerfully as he could. He thought the little 'Tinkerbell' girl was difficult to be around when she was cheerful, but some how it was worse when she was upset. "You'd probably be scared of everything too if you were bite sized." He said waving his hand over Annies head like he might pat it.

"Hey!" she yelled batting his hand away. "I'm not that short!"
