The Most Dangerous Coffee Shop- A Role Play

Take noticed Ellie limping and stumbling trying to keep up. He immediately stopped in front of her, and crouched down, “Get on” he ordered, implying that she get on his back so he can carry her out piggy-back style. His body temperature was safe enough not to burn Ellie.
“O-K” she got on his back. “This really is an off-week for me” She muttered super quietly “I get kidnapped and now there are frickin tree roots out to get me!”

Haddie was struggling to keep up with the group, and wasn't having much luck getting anyone's attention. It didn't help that her stomach felt like someone was stabbing her from hunger, and her ankle wouldn't hold any weight. Stupid trees.
Rylie stood stock still, twisting an ear, tail swishing.
“Not now, Rylie,” Kyle said. He knew what would happen next. Rylie always started by hearing an odd sound or strange sound and the ordeal usually ended with Kyle getting thrown into the boonies because of a rogue leap or wild pounce.
But Rylie wasn’t listening.
He crouched, turning an ear towards a noise behind him. His tail whipped like a furry snake slithering in the grass.
Pounce!
Remarkably, Kyle didn’t fall off this time. Rylie emerged triumphant, a soft grey mouse pressed firmly between his jaws. Still alive, of course. Rylie liked to toy with his finds.
“We haven’t got the time for this...” Kyle warned.
The mouse stared fearfully at him through crisp azure eyes.
What?
Kyle was no expert on Scottish mice, but he didn’t think they had blue eyes.

Fox looked up at the sky, heaving a defeated sigh. "We probably shouldn't. We'll have to try to convince them to come back here." He replied, finally turning around to follow Colby. "It's a shame we have to leave, though."
"Well, at least we're not teleporting straight out of here, right?" Colby had lapsed into a springy trot that had his tail bouncing. The majority of the group had long disappeared from view, but it was the few stragglers that cued him on in on their path. "It's awesome even without Stonehenge."

Haddie started to lag behind. All her focus was on moving her feet. She didn't even hear the cat's soft footsteps until it was to late.
"Squeaaaakkk!" Haddie shrieked as best she could, chattering at the now giant cat, and the little man atop his back. So when I'm a cat, I smell funny, but now I'm a mouse, you have no problem trying to EAT me?!?

“You smell funny,” Rylie meowed. That was the reason he had to catch her. It was very important to investigate all strange smelling mice.
He set the mouse down, holding her down with a paw, eyeing her. Something’s off. Blue is one of the few colors cats can see, and Rylie didn’t remember seeing it on a mouse before. “You look funny too.”
He lifted his paw, waiting for the quivering mouse to make a break for it.
He may have enjoyed them if he were larger, but Kyle never liked to see Rylie’s cat-and-mouse games. It was to easy to imagine himself beneath that paw.

“O-K” she got on his back. “This really is an off-week for me” She muttered super quietly “I get kidnapped and now there are frickin tree roots out to get me!”
Take held onto Ellie’s legs and stood up. Since she was small and didn’t weigh very much, she didn’t slow him down. He quickly started to run again, focused on getting her out of there. “C’mon Blair!” He shouted, urging her to keep up as his third eye watched as the roots and branches came for them. He tried to keep a good pace as he jumped, dodged, and ducked as they swung in his direction in attempt to capture him and Ellie again.

Haddie's eyes darted between the cat's tilted head and Kyle's slightly concerned visage. She had to get Kyle to realize who she was, and maybe then she could get some food and not be a mouse any more. The cat lifted it's paw from her. It expected her to dart away. Instead, she leaped up onto its nose and to the top of it's head, where she was staring Kyle in the face. She pointed to herself and tried to sound out her name as best she could with the limited vocabulary of a mouse.

Hearing Brid's summons, Colby glanced up at the angered sky and then turned to Fox with a halfhearted shrug. "Maybe we can pop by here again. We probably shouldn't stray too far behind the group."

Fox looked up at the sky, heaving a defeated sigh. "We probably shouldn't. We'll have to try to convince them to come back here." He replied, finally turning around to follow Colby. "It's a shame we have to leave, though."

Brid hung back to wait for the two, glancing nervously at the darkening sky. “I’m gonna have to go back there some day. It’s really pretty.” She mused, looking at the ground as they walked. After a short period of silence, she blurted out, “I hope these bugs aren’t deadly. I’ve been considering this. What if one of us gets killed?” She gave a halfhearted smile and a laugh. “If these bugs are even real, that is.”
