MADAM CASSANDRA BOULEVARD MANIGARILO,
REGIONAL AUDITOR
HEAD OFFICE BANCO DE ORO UNIVERSAL BANK .
12 ADB AVENUE, ORTIGAS CENTER, MANDALUYONG CITY
PHILIPPINES.

Good Day,

Let me start by introducing myself, I am MADAM CASSANDRA BOULEVARD MANIGARILO,
REGIONAL AUDITOR OFFICER BANCO DE ORO UNIVERSAL BANK. I am writing you this letter based
on the latest development at my bank, which I will like to bring to your
personal edification. I am a top official in charge of client accounts in
(EQUITABLE PCI BANK) which is now BANCO DE ORO UNIVERSAL BANK inside the
Philippines the merger was (2007) The merger is part of a long-term goal of
Banco de Oro to become one of the largest names in the Philippine banking industry.

In 2001, my client was going through a horrendous divorce in the United States
of America and was on the verge of losing most of his estate to his vicious and
diabolical wife. As a result of this alarming predicament, my client came to me
with a very brilliant idea. He transferred some funds, ten million two hundred
thousand dollars (10.2m Dollars) to a fixed deposit account in my bank under an alias
which only the two of us knew about as the confidentiality of the matter
was necessary for his protection.

Due to his untimely death in early 2002, the funds have been sitting in the account ever
since and will continue to do so perpetually unless we do something
about it. This is where you come in. I located you through an agency that helps seek
people by their email. My client did not declare any next of kin in his
official papers including the paper work of his bank deposit. Against this backdrop, my
suggestion to you is that I would like you as a foreigner to stand
as the next of kin to our client so that you will be able to receive his funds.
The allocation of our money will be as follows: 30%(3.06m Dollars) to you for your part
in this, 70% for me.Get back to me as soon as possible via my private email address,
[email protected]
Hope to hear from you soon .

Kind Regards,

Madam Cassandra Boulevard manigarilo

I couldnt quit laughing!!
I may email back just so I can get another laugh...

"Vicious and diabolical wife" That describes all of us women who have convinced our hubbies to build us a coop!!!

Oh, that's a good one. I do hope you mess with them. Start a correspondence to have them first wire you some money as you ALSO have recently come across some money that you would love to share, but need a processing fee to access it or some such silly nonsense.

I remember coming across a post by a guy who strung one of these scammers along for months, eventually getting them to believe that he was a top NYC talent scout for an add agency ... he got the scammers to send him pic of themselves and all their friends in their underwear, which he of course posted on a scammer blog.

I work for a bank and you wouldn't (or would you??) believe how many people fall for fishing scams. I like the "diabolical" description and that you are unique because you have email. Special even. You can only sent your money for investment if they buy some drugs from Canada, first, and support your local BYC charity for the chicken obsessed.

Honestly? I'm impressed that whoever wrote it can write in English! At least SOMEONE realized that writing like a 7th grader is not the way to get moolah...

Uh huh and who convinced him we really need to buy a shed and modify it for the new duckling.

I must admit that the beginning of it looked extremely professional, aside form the name and horn blowing. But they lost it very shortly after the first paragraph.

I get these kinds of letters a lot, always from a "bank official" I did write back once (in an equally obviously fake way) but they didn't bite

They make me laugh too. Kinda wonder why they keep at it, I don't think anyone would ever fall for it, but I guess if they just get 1 person it will be worth it
