Years ago when I was training in a dance studio up in Hollywood I witnessed a very scary thing. During class a man entered and sat on the row of seating in the observation area toward the back. He was greasey looking with torn up jeans, a older white Tshirt, a old black leather jacket, and a pair of those little round framed sunglasses over his eyes. His hair was nasty looking and long .... sticking everywhere! Creeped me out. My instructor told me quietly not to worry and to just ignore him....he would explain later. So class ended and he had spoken to the instructor and left. I later found out that was Tim Burton shopping for body parts for his up and coming film. Later I found out a person in our class was considered for a role.....her legs I believe were used in the movie "Beetlejuice." If you all remember the couch scene with the woman seperated from her legs sitting in the waiting room? I still get creeped out thinking of it.
I lOve Tim Burton and love his movies... I was soo excited to see Coraline after reading the book a few years back... I dont have any issues with the pastie scene as you can clearly tell it was meant to be a bodysuit when she peeled out of it... My children love Nightmae before christmas and willy wonka and th chocolate factory neither my 7yo nor my 4 yo even commented about that scene..
I didn't like the movie. My kids were not interested (10 & 6). We love the Nightmare Before Christmas so we thought we would like this one also. Not as good.
