He has very well formed feathers, a rose comb, five toes and feathered legs. I'm not sure how much he weighs but he is much bigger than my two OEGB roos. He is a very attentive roo. He is a great forager and leads the Banty flock all over the field in search of interesting eats. He can be aggressive to other roos even the LF RIR alpha roo, Steve. He is a good protector of his flock and I thought we had lost him after I found a pile of his feathers and nothing more. A few hours later he came limping back to the coop missing several of his feathers. Fortunately, he has his feathers number for just this reason.

Silkie X OEGB. comb is Walnut, Silkies has 5 toes, featherd legs, color is OEGB, crest is Silkie, Silkie-feathering is recessive.

I'll not discount the Silkie part because I have NO idea. I'm sure it is a better guess than most. I stand corrected on the comb. Old habit. It was much less pronounced until this year. Although I do believe he has a fair amount of OEGB in his blood, OEGB can be about anything except five toes and feathered feet.

Thanks for the info. I do love his coloring and his personality.
