Here are pictures that you asked for. They are not pretty but work good. I do have red nipples on the last picture. I collect rain water in the blue tube to feed those nipples.

do you not have a problem of them throwing too much feed one the ground since those gutters are wide open?

I don't see much down on the ground. The gutter feeder is deep enough to hold the feed in there. I feed limited amount everyday, so they have to pick them up if they fall on the ground.

Got ya! thats what i was wondering i have a few different feeders and if you dont watch before you know it youll have two inches of feed on the ground

I elevated mine on top of a role of duck tape then put a paper plate under the feeder that gives it about a 1/2 in lip that catches 79% of all the food that they spill
