We're going to have to get a couple more so we can have adult wagon rides :D lol
If you do that, I'm coming to Canada for a visit and ride!

I'm posting from work, don't tell! She stayed all night and was still there when I left at 7:30.

If she's off when I get home I will be figuring out a way to trap her there :)

That is good news! You said you are day19??is it 20 today?? If so the eggs will probably start chirping and that should keep her put!! She will probably start chirping clucking too in response & encouragement. How many eggs and what kind do you have under her???

Here's a link to a really interesting article on the history of chicken raising in the states - starting when flocks free ranged, roosted in trees, and foraged. Says average chicken laid a total of 30 eggs a year! and now chickens in facotry farms have red contact lenses so they don't have to be debeaked (I would think it would take more labor to put the lenses in the chickens eyes than it would to debeak, not that I am in favor of either activity).

I have considered them but just forgot.. I ordered one of the ones that take up two egg spots today.. darn.. I am only using the incubator for hatching though. My cabinet incubator is for setting.. guess it doesn't matter during hatching :)

I will have two genesis'. We had an old incubator in the barn and have it replaced with a genesis.

Here's a note if you didn't already know: Paypal holds e-check payments for 10 days! Pay by credit card if you want your order quickly. Took me 3 days to sort it out and get it cancelled so I can reissue it to a credit card.

PayPal's fault, not Incubator Warehouse.

Incubator Warehouse is awesome. Such helpful folks! Highly recommend them :)

Can someone post a link to a good list for the chicken first aid kit? I am working on putting one together this week. Also, is there a good place to get Neem oil in something other than a teeny tiny bottle or does a little bit just go a long way?
Thanks so much!!!

I don't think there is a link for a list of supplies lol Everyone has their own favorites or tried & true products. But I am guessing most people would share their list? Then maybe someone could put it at that place for easier access? :). (I didn't see a list there last time I looked)

Here is what I have. I compiled my list from OT's with a lot of knowledge and wanted the least amount of chemicals.

Bag balm, Nustock, blue kote, Epsom salts, witch hazel, vet wrap, EMS scissors, tweezers, plastic gloves, baby wipes, hemmoroid cream, drawing salve, antibiotic cream & zip ties.

The most important thing is a plastic box to keep them all togetherness your not running around looking for everything lol

Sally8 I get my pumpkin seeds from wegmans in the bulk food section.
I had already checked our Wegmans. I check again. There is a bulk food store up north of Keuka Lake that has yummy stuff other than herbs and spices. I'll have to make a trip up. Yesterday, I gave my chickens the last 2 very squishy pumpkins left from the garden.
