Yup. I grew up in really rural East Texas, and my grandfather trapped for pocket money (sad, I know, but times were different then). He always either sold the carcasses or froze em and we'd have em around. They make decent stew and the littler ones aren't bad fried. Not as good as chicken fried squirrel, but still pretty tasty.
I have a homesteading book with recipes for things like raccoon and squirrel... Haven't quite worked up the courage to try any of them lmao
