I had thought of that myself, and had planned on keeping them separate. I always kept my hatchery chicks apart until they stopped peeping, before they were intermixed, but they grew up and saw each other daily, but just had fencing to keep them apart. I will do that with these as well, another concern was if the chicks could handle the ramp. It's a fairly long one, maybe 4 ft long, and it's up about 3 ft from the ground. I would hate for one of them to fall off it, and hurt themselves with a permanent injury.
