We are wanting to raise these chickens without medicines and as natural as possible! Any advice is more than welcome since I am new to this.... Thanks a ton!!
Hi!!! I'm so glad you found us! People on this thread are among the most friendly, most generous with information, most honest about their methods, (what works, v what doesn't). One of my favorite places to hang out.

Some new pictures to share. We had a really sunny day today, and the chicks were so enthralled with the rays when I opened the baby barn. Still don't leave it open when I am not around - as they will not leave, and I'm terrified of losing any of them... No protection.. Not even a rooster to watch over them.

He looks so lonely since Wanda died (the day AFTER the fire). We are still looking for a girlfriend for him. Nothing yet.. Must not be the right time of year...

This is great! I have learned a lifetime of information already on incubating and such BYC is a necessity to anyone that is starting with chickens I am so pleased to have stumbled across this place !!!

Oh yes! I have raised livestock and chickens my lifetime. But even old timers like me learn something new everyday on this thread. Don't be shy. You can ask anything here and no one will think it's a silly question. We have a vast and mixed cross of people from all over the world here and there is always someone that can and will try to help.
