The Natural Chicken Keeping thread - OTs welcome!

I always like to see the personalities before naming them. :)

Or you end up with a female turkey named Bruce...
That's part of the fun. Maybe Bruce just loves her name. ;)

Joking aside, I try not to name critters but when I do I usually go for personality or give a gender neutral. I like to remind myself that there's more than 2 genders out there, so all names are fair game.^^

May I present - Gunnar's Last Chick (I totally need a better name - LOL!)

Awwwww...

peyote is a spineless cacti right?
You beat me to the punch :) That's what I was going to say. It's nothing to be embarrassed about. Actually like that name!

Or a Welsummer momma hen named Thor.

Have to say, she was always a bit on the masculine side!
We are getting two new male kittens (barn kittens - keep mice away). and have chosen SuiteCase and LunchBox.

Not like animals care what their names are anyway. Might as well get a laugh out of it.

This is where I got the name SuiteCase from. Hehehe..

I watched a million of this user's videos. The Bald Eagles are so interesting. She seems to have a way with wildlife.
