well, here I go again about roosters.

this guy, who knows what he is, is my second choice rooster. am thinking I'll try to keep two. See edie, the black pullet in the back ground?
Buster, my main rooster, chases Edie, not to mate but to harass her. Buster otherwise has all the admirable traits of dancing, calling the girls to treats, keeping an eye out on the sky.

But, i've noticed a few times that he chases Edie and the other bearded and muffed pullet, chases the same way he chases a few of the young roosters - not just chase away, but follows and chases around trees, etc.
Will he grow out of this? I don't want the pullets to be stressed or have to be wary. I think he has just taken a dislike to the ameracauna pullets.
THe other roo choices are so far too young to really have displayed anything behaviorally. All of the roosters, including buster, are the same age (almost 16 weeks), but only three crow. Buster is the only one mating so far, and I like that he isn't trying to jump everything that moves - hopefully that won't change much.
so.....anyone have a rooster who has taken a dislike to some of the hens?
advice?
