Are you sure he's running them off and not chasing to mate?

Leahs Mom.......that spotlight I got is working out great. Once I got the setting right on it correct and set it for max range it comes on when I come out the back door onto the deck & gives enough light to see to walk to the gate about 15 ft away and then lights the path to the coop. Its not a super bright blind you eyes kind of light. Its more like a full moon light that lights your way. You can easily see obstacles in your way. I cant wait to see how it is with the snow.

But it doesn't bother the the neighbors just lights the path. If I can figure out how to get a picture at night that works I will take one

Put them in a hat and pick one remotely. It would sort of be like your random window generator.....just the paper version
