For the hanging ones, I think it is popular to tie the legs together and hang by the tie.We may have talked about this before. If so, please forgive my memory.
For those of you that weigh your chickens (meat), if you use a platform type scale how to you weigh them? Or is the preferred method a hanging scale with them in some container that you can hang?
I'm talking about live weighing.
I do it pretty easy. I have a postal scale for shipping. I use a box, zero out the machine and place the bird in the box. It also work for human scales. I like to use the postal scale since it is very transportable and has a lifted stand for boxes of all sizes.We may have talked about this before. If so, please forgive my memory.
