The Never Ending Hatching thread! For those of us that hatch all year long!

I had trouble with 2 landlords in a row doing crap to my birds so I feel for you. Mine are all safe now. The new landlord likes my birds & wants eggs & meat so we are good. I have a ton of eggs available (mostly duck & quail) if there is anything you are looking for.

I caught him the last time he was on the property and held the jerk at gunpoint until the cops got there but that was long after the damage had been done, and no way to prove he was the one that did it.

To answer your question, YES! What kinda ducks do you have? Ive been scrambling to try to rebuild what we lost, its just been a massive uphill battle and lost the income from all the hens being gone isn't helping one bit. argh!

I have these laying right now: Pekin, Muscovy, Indian Runner, & Calls (very few right now, starting to molt).
The Rouens are starting to get adult coloring so may be laying soon. The Anconas are still growing out & the khakis & welshies are just tiny yet.

I may have a few extra khaki babies, have plenty of scovie babies, a couple call hens & babies & a few spare drakes in pekin, runner & rouen & 4 scovie hens available if you want birds instead of eggs.

Coturnix are a mix of Texas A&M, Jumbo, Pharoah, buff, tux, cinnamon & Italian speckled.
I get a few eggs from the Tennessee Reds & there is 1 Bobwhite hen in with them.

I am NPIP so can ship whatever you need.

Well I put 11 Wellsummer''s in the bator last thurs night. Fingers crossed.

Saving a few eggs from Earl Grey and a girl that *might* be his sister or not. But she is grey and gold and is really pretty. Also from a Wellie x leghorn girl that reliably lays one huge jumbo extra large egg every other day, skipped only the days that were over 110.

A picture of Earl from a few months ago. I got him in a batch of EE from beehappy4ever. I think he is from an EE girl and her lavender orp roo. Which would explain where some of the grey came from. He has filled out some more and has a huge chest.

and on a side note, my first true Ameraucauna hatched last Dec from shipped eggs has begun laying. Her sister is pinking up so she should follow soon. I plan to breed them to my Black Copper Marans for olivers for now. But I might look for a blue boy (these girls are blue) down the road for purebreds.

I put 9 blue slate turkey eggs I bought off eBay in the 'bator on 10/30/13, and today is officially day 28. I set 'em on Saturday the 23rd, and one lilac hatched yesterday. Since then, no significant movement, no pipping from the other 8, and I'm starting to freak out that my one little turkey won't have any friends to grow up with! ARGGH!!!!!! Hatching is SO STRESSFUL!!! I keep going back upstairs every 15 minutes to see if I've got a pip and nothing!!
Losing my mind here!

And some of the ones that are now NOT moving WERE moving yesterday!!!! WTH?
