The neverending coop project. *Update - IT'S DONE!!!!!!*

Well, there are currently 2 daytime residents in the brooder section. Cheryl gave me a 9 week old English orp pullet and cockeral. They are staying in it during the day and at night I'm putting them in a dog crate in a secure outbuilding until I get the door on.

Then I have other "new" chickens...olive eggers that are 7 1/2 weeks old via a broody that need to be moved in there.

Sunday afternoon we have plans with the kiddo's, but are free the rest of the weekend. So hopefully NO RAIN!

The weather here is just fine. Bright, sunny, not a cloud in the sky. Kelly's probably out there in her bibbed overalls, hammer in hand, right now.

Worked on the fencing, and now getting ready to go get the plywood to build the door. Hopefully I will get it built today and hang, caulk and paint it tomorrow.

We got the plywood and hubby helped me cut it on the table saw. From there, I built the door and caulked it. Tomorrow I will primer and paint it and hubby will help me hang it. Hopefully we'll have time to do a bit of cleanup and get the last side of fencing and the gate put in.

No pics yet. I was waiting til it's finished. Besides, I can't upload right now anyway. My internet is functioning in the most sparse manner. I can browse sites, but uploading and streaming are not working still. Have to call this week and

more.
