Thought I'd be the first one to see it! Shoot! Went on a surprise trip to NYC... pretty fun. Anyways AWESOME JOB!!!!! Your chickens should be so grateful
Joe!
...I just have to add the screening...
...Now the run is another story....
...We are going to install the gate and latch tomorrow... FINISHED?
----------------------------------- Uh, call me when it's over------------------- Ah tolja to make him do it. 'tain't no end t' this...
Getting closer............Yesterday I wrapped the fencing around the post and hubby helped by installing the gate. Only a couple more small things to do and it will be finished! I have to put the screening over the storage area, put some t-posts in the run for hawk protection and install the automatic door. Today it's pouring rain, so no working on it today. Hopefully tomorrow.
I built an extra nesting box out of the leftover plywood I had. It will be for the broody area, when I get another broody. I got the screening put over the storage area, it cost me $4 and a few staples, and some leftover scrap pieces. Easy, and it will work great.
So, all that's left:
T-posts in the run for hawk protection (not doing that in the rain Joe) - I don't cover my runs as it's 20 ft by 60 ft.
Install the auto door opener, which I'm not doing until I get the t-posts in.
That's it - all that's left. I'll update photos THIS WEEK when it's officially completed.
