What eggs: 6+ SFH eggs - I have 8 hens and 7 pullets laying, covered by 3 roos. I have hatched eggs from 4 different breeders to make my flock. You will get some small pullet eggs in this batch, but not all. The pullets have been laying for a couple of months and fertility is excellent. I have 6 eggs from today and I will add what they lay tomorrow.
Starting bid: $10
Shipping: $18, bubble-wrapped, individually placed inside plastic Easter eggs for protection, and double boxed. Shipped priority mail with insurance.
I am not NPIP and will not ship to VA or HI.
Must be paid for by 8:00AM on Wed. 8/7, and will be shipped 8/7
again, i'd love to bid, if you'd ship to VA...
KYTinpusher,
It really is worthwhile to get your NPIP. Getting registered to ship to VA does not cost any money. According to the State Vet, it is a matter of filling out the paper work and verifying the NPIP status. Nothing wrong with broadening your market with minimal investment. I do not know what they charge in KY but in VA the charge is nominal and up to the tester. The tester who did my chickens did not charge me at all.
I am now a certified NPIP tester in VA and do not charge much, usually a mileage cost to get to the test site (farm) and a nominal charge per bird. 4-H kids & poultry club folks are often done for free as I want to encourage their interest in chickens.
No, not anymore. You just have to fill out a form for them every year.
You guys have guilted me into moving this up on my list of things to do. I am scheduled for NPIP testing on the 21st. She will do the AI test at the same time, but they do not do MG testing. Does VA require the MG test now?![]()

Is that how that happens? Leave them where it's hot and then in the AC? Someone told me a while back that they got eggs like that from me and I had no idea how that could be. I've also gotten them that way, had no idea. I'm really sick about this order. So frustrating to have them ruin those eggs. After I pm'd I had tears running down my cheeks. That's how furious I am. They've damaged so many eggs this year I'm just about to show them what Postal really means.I picked up my eggs from Wolftracks at the post office. There were two big holes going through the top, like a sabertooth tiger bit it or maybe a walrus.
But I am fairly certain neither of these delivers packages for the post office, I'm going with the post office sucks. There was water inside the bubble wrap with almost all of the eggs. I think they must have left them outside for awhile then brought them into an air conditioned building. None of that matters because they scrambled the eggs.
I don't know how. but everything inside is bubbley and all one color. The membrane is floating. I am so sad.
They are such beautiful large eggs. And she sent extras, too. they were packed so well that not one was cracked. I don't like you mean postal carrier that hates fragile packages. This is worst shape my eggs have shown up in. But Wolftracks got insurance
so I'll get to find out how it works. I just keep thinking of all of those beautiful eggs, wasted. I know there are excellent postal workers out there, it sucks that it only takes one jerk along the way to ruin my package. They are so pretty. Hmmph! Arghg. I can't find many good breeds around here. I am so frustrated.
I've had a few other packages damaged, but this was ridiculous.![]()
