The NEW Crazy 24hr AUCTION thread

First page:

Slight rule alterations due to popular demand....

1. Auctions can be longer or shorter than 24 hours if that is convenient for the seller, as long as the finish time is clearly stated in the auction together with time zone.
2. BIN ARE allowed if you genuinely want to move a set of eggs quickly and they are priced to do so.  BINs that are listed every day at a "regular" price should not dominate the thread so that it is hard to find the current fun auctions  .

I have a pair of pure Chocolate English Orpingtons, and a black 1/2 English 1/2 Dutch (slightly closer to American SOP) black Orpington, my mauve English Orpington (just moved and probably still bred by my frizzled roo) and a very nice SQ black Cochin in pen #1, Pen #2 is my back (carrying mottled) frizzled Cochin roo over a white American Orpington, and a dark lemon-blue cochin. Pen # 3 are my calico Cochins. Pen #4 are my SQ SEBASTAPOL GEESE, who are laying currently and are due an egg today. Pen #5 has my pure Boulanger rooster over my F1 Dorking x Faverolles hens- makes awesome layers and meat birds or breed the into your Fav line to improve utility traits. Pen #6 are my SQ Faverolles pullet Breeders, which consist of my winning hen, her 2 1/2 Merlin daughters and a pure Merlin roo. Pen #7 are my cockerel producers which are 1 roo over 3 hens, all Boulanger and out crossed lines, I guarantee there will be a minimum of 6 eggs, but it is far more likely you will be getting any more then that. Nothing will be marked except the F2s, unless I forget and mark them by mistake. I already have 3 chocolate pen eggs from yesterday to start things off. ;)
Hi do u know an estimate on how many eggs there could be? Also i am interested in bidding bit if the eggs aren't marked then i won't be. Is there any way u can mark the eggs so we will know what is what when they hatch. Thanks :)

OK I bid $14!

What else can we bid on? I would love some frizzled polish, tolbunt polish (that is wishful thinking that I could actually afford what they would go for, but I would try!), crele polish, d'uccles (I have a self-blue that I need a partner for!), and the list could go on!

Guess I shall wait patiently.

I am going to post my question here so it isn't offensive to the seller on the other thread where I bought these eggs. (But I have purchased eggs on this thread recently too so please bare with me.) I purchased these BBS Copper Marans eggs and they arrived with no breaks and packaged with great care HOWEVER this is what they looked like inside the packaging:

Should I be upset? Won't all these deep scratches (which are all over the entire egg) and poo/dirt seriously affect my hatch? I expect a little poo or dirt on a couple but over half of the 3 dozen were pretty dirty and were scratched up. I just need clarification before I decide whether or not to mention this to the seller. This is my fifth batch of shipped eggs so I'm not super experienced but this is a first for me. I wouldn't set my own eggs in this condition but I also don't want to offend if this is considered acceptable.
