Up for 24-Hour-Auction!! 12+ French Black Copper Marans! Bid start at $8 Shipping/packaging $15 Starts now and ends @3pm Aug 3rd PST Will ship Monday/Tuesdays only Feathered shanks and outter toe, copper around the neck, perfect green/purple sheen and beautiful body shape, so far heat tolerant. These are a combo of reg and pullet eggs. Some just started laying about 3 weeks ago. They hatched in January and I can't believe they've started laying already! Egg color is beautiful and fertility has been tested and proven. If anyone is interested in trying them out? I hate to eat them, but no more hatching for me this year! I wrap each egg in bubble wrap and nestle them snugly and securely. I haven't had an egg break yet! Here is a pic of color next to some regular brown and a light brown egg.

I have a favor to ask of everyone who has gotten any of the project eggs from me this year. Please let me know when they start laying and what color eggs you're getting. I'm sure a lot will be your typical EE colors, but I need to see what's happening in that pen and if this roo is working or if I need to pull him. I'm hoping he works, cause he's a cool looking bird and I'd like to have more like him, but laying at least a lavender egg. I have several more growing out and I'll be switching around a lot next year. I have some awesome looking pullets and I'd hate to think they have to go if they don't lay these and rose for me.

Lol yes I tell myself that too...but it is still a major bummer....after the all the excitement of spring lol...Ice packs buried under the bottom cushioning material helps! For a while anyway... I might put some up soon...I have GORGEOUS french blue copper and blue marans that are laying their hearts out..lol awesome silkies,split silkied ameraucana eggs, lav/black Ams, EE's, and several other breeds coming soon...we have wheaten ams,BLRW,full silkied ams,and gorgeous little bantam Cochins those all are still to young to lay...so by next spring when everyone wants eggs we aught to be offing a lot!

Well, I don't know if this will make you feel any better but I would love to have some silkied ameraucana eggs. I am just too new to bid on anything right now. I need to get my post numbers up. Let me know when you get ready to sell some. We are trying to build up a flock. I think they are too cute and my 3 little boys would be in love at first sight...lol

Well, I don't know if this will make you feel any better but I would love to have some silkied ameraucana eggs. I am just too new to bid on anything right now. I need to get my post numbers up. Let me know when you get ready to sell some. We are trying to build up a flock. I think they are too cute and my 3 little boys would be in love at first sight...lol

Jen go to the first page of any thread you wish to particapate in and read the rules. BYC says you need 20 posts to particapate in the general BST some threads have additional requirements, this one does not. Still, please read the rules throughly and ask questions if there is anything you still dont understand. You should also have your Pay Pal account up and running before any bidding activity since there are sometimes delays with that and sellers expect to be paid at the end of the Auction. Remember eggs are time sensitive. Welcome to BYC

Thank you for the info! I am a total newbie on here. I could swear I read somewhere you had to have 250 posts to participate. Jeez, I must have pulled that one out of the air..lol I do have an active Paypal account so I guess I am about ready to pursue my quest to find someone selling some silkied ams and make them mine...

You read that on the just in time hatching egg auction. It is 6 months/250 posts before bidding and selling on it.
