These are bantam Faverolles. There are 4 blue girls, 2 black girls, a black roo, and a split to chocolate F1 Faverolles x chocolate Orpington. All chocolate chicks hatched will be female, and i just hatched my first one yesterday, with PERFECT TOES! Which was better than I hoped because the split boy has only 4 toes. ANYWAY, I rarely offer these gems, and to my knowledge I am the only person working on chocolate with them.




**please note: The split to chocolate F1 roo has a bum leg, as a result from an accident he had as a tiny chick. Because of this he doesn't get nearly as much "action" as the older black roo**

I would like to make an observation Please. All of the eggs I have gotten this year have porous shells. Some from here, some from other avenues. Last year I had 80% shipped egg hatches and I always have 100% hatch of my own eggs. This Spring it has been awful Only one chick of the first 2 dozen eggs I have had shipped in made it to hatch then died in shell.Six of my own eggs in the same incubator hatched just fine. I have 2 dozen more shipped eggs in my bator right now, all but 2 of them have porous shells and only those 2 are developing. Please give your hens calcium supplements. Especially if you are shipping eggs. Thank You.
