I am glad I caught this thread because MY ignorant self assumed Hen's choice would mean whatever multiple hens laid the amount for sale first ~ is what gave you your two choices; take it or leave it!

From my understanding that is what "hens choice" is. Whatever is laid to make up the amount that is for sale. Otherwise the 6 eggs could be from any and all pens.

I put up some auctions on ebay since there where no takers here. Sorry I can't leave the link.

Up for auction are 6+ hens choice from my silkies and sizzles. Starting bid is $10.00 and S&H is $13.00 Auction ends tuesday at 4:00pm central time.

Possible eggs to be shipped are SQ Splash Silkie, SQ Silver Partridge Silkie, Paint Silkie and mixed color Sizzles. Possible sizzles are frizzled silkie partridge, white sizzle and from my new pen I have a frizzled partridge silkie roo with a blue silkie hen. I will be showing the roo in this pen next month. Some of the splash have been shown as well as the silver partridge hens, white sizzle hens, frizzled partridge silkie hen.

I take paypal only and these eggs have been collected today and tomorrow for shipment on wednesday.

Actually, the fat and cholesterol in a chicken egg are directly proportional to the body fat content of the hen that laid the egg. So, since bantams are generally leaner than LF, their eggs are better for you. You have to eat more of them to equal the egg of a LF hen, but bantams are generally such good layers that having enough eggs to cook doesn't pose a problem.

LOL And that's the problem. I have to break twice as many eggs to have fried eggs. You can't even make a fried egg sandwich with one Silkie egg. LOL

You can if your on a diet!! I did two years ago when I went on a diet...1 silkie fried egg on a piece of 40 calorie bread...yup...was starving 20 minutes later Thats why the diet was 2 years ago!! Lololol

Oh, yeah! LOL I would have to go fix me another one 3 times. LOL That would sure ruin the purpose of a diet with all that bread.
