The NEW Crazy 24hr AUCTION thread

This is my first bid I just got my brinsea octagon 20 and I can't wait to hatch out some chicks! I'll take the Orpington bantams for $5 Bama1

Please check the BST section rules. Neither of you are eligible to participate in auctions yet. https://www.backyardchickens.com/t/250783/buy-sell-trade-rules-must-read-agree-to-participate-in-bst/0_20
this doe not mean you cant check with the sellers privately! I have had that happen many tmes from newer people and figured something out! Don't be discouraged, be industerious! ( but spelled correctly)

I'm at 27 eggs! Ends tonight at 8PM. My anconas are daily layers and started back in mid decemeber and havent let up since. After seperating everyone I can say every single egg is from an ancona hen but because the drakes were all in with them they still may be mixed ducklings.

Auction: 20+ mixed duck eggs from my mixed flock of 8 or 9 ancona hens, 2 blue swedish hens, 3 ancona drakes and a trio of pekins. I've typically been getting 6 to 7 eggs from these guys a day. Sometimes I get as many as 9. I'll include any and all extras. The Pekin hens are not laying that I know of. I have separated pens on 1/28 yet I make no promises of pure ducklings even though you should get some pure ancona. $15 starting bid and shipping is $18. I've got eggs collected starting Tuesday 1/27 through Friday 1/30 for a Saturday 1/31 ship date!
Auction ends at 8pm Friday January 30. Please PM with any questions. Thanks for looking! Please keep in mind these are ducks and it has been rainy and nasty here. While the eggs are not extremely dirty please be aware there is small amounts of mud from their feet that the straw didn't remove on their way to the nests.

ETA: I have 2 black drakes, 1 blue drake over black blue and lilac hens in ancona. The anconas lay green and white eggs. The blue swedish lay white. The pekins lay white also.

Picture of this Tuesday and Wednesday mornings eggs. These are some of the actual eggs you'll be receiving. Picture taken with no flash under 15 watt spiral lightbulbs.

Today I have FOUR auctions!

The eggs I get today and tomorrow will be added to these, so they will be 1 to 4 days old when shipped Saturday

Here is a pic of the Marans and OE eggs I have as of yesterday (Tuesday and Wednesday's eggs).

The Marans eggs colors are fairly accurately showing on my monitor. Most are NOT super dark eggs. Most of my real dark egg hens are not laying yet, but most of my Marans hens are with real dark egg line roosters.

Here are the chickens I have, with some pics and brief descriptions: https://www.backyardchickens.com/a/cathys-poultry-and-stuff

The Olive Egger eggs I'm auctioning are from EE hens with Marans roos.

All 4 auctions begin at Noon central time and will end 6:00pm CST tomorrow (Friday) for shipping Saturday morning. I will need Paypal payment as fast as possible after the auctions end so I can start packing the eggs.

Test hatch special! Bid starts at $5. Plus $15 shipping. Auction ends Friday Night at 8:00pm CST PayPal due by 8:00am CST Saturday morning. These can be mailed Saturday morning.
Bantam Orpington 12+ eggs. The Rooster is an Orpington and the best the experts here on BYC can tell me is that he's Partridge or Wild color. His parents were Black (split to chocolate) English Orpington Roo x Black American Hen, so something magical happened there. I have no idea what color the chicks will be! The hens are black.
These were put into their breeder pen on February 20th so there is still a chance of mix breed chicks as they were free ranging with Sulmtaler, New Hampshire, Australorp, Leghorn, and Sulmtaler x Legbar Roosters.
I bubble wrap and double box. I do not have any heat packs.

Blue & White Special. 9+ Eggs. Bid starts at $5. Plus $15 shipping. Auction ends Friday Night at 8:00pm CST PayPal due by 8:00am CST Saturday morning. These can be mailed Saturday morning.

These are "An Egg Every Day" girls, one is crested and lays blue eggs and the other two are Leghorns. The Rooster is Legbar x Leghorn x Sulmtaler. Your chicks should lay either light blue or white eggs and lots of them.
I bubble wrap and double box. I do not have any heat packs.

I made sure to read and re-read the rules. I made sure to get my 20 posts. I would really like to bid on the Bantam eggs for $5 and $15 for shipping if that's ok. Sorry I got overzealous and didn't finish reading all the rules

You are forgiven lol. Just wanted to make sure that you had enough time to get those posts in before the auction ended and your bid wasn't accepted.

that you get the egg you want.

Please don't quote the whole post when you comment, try to compress it if it's really long (removing pics etc, like clousert did

) because when lots of people are quoting the same long posts, it just makes it a bit of a pain to scroll though and bids get lost amid quotes, quite frankly I find it makes bids harder to find than actual discussion about the auctions

Great point. I wish people could do that on all threads. Kern

$20 for ancona eggs
just so you two are aware, I dropped one during packaging so there is only 26. If you wish to withdrawal your bids I will cancel the auctions and restart. If your ok with 26, then you don't have to do anything.

You have auctions and because I haven't posted 20 times I am not eligable. Sounds a little ridiculous. All you have to do is pm them anyway
