It may pick up a little after New Years. It's very unreliable to ship eggs around Christmas and New Years. And of course, a lot of birds don't lay during the winter. The only birds I have laying right now are the bantam EEs.

Very!!! while not eggs, i just had a 2 day priority from less then 100 miles from me take 5 days while a 1st class package came all the way across the country in just two.
