The New England Bantam Club Fall Show November 21, 2010

OK...I am home! Of course not empty handed. I got a beautiful trio of Wheaton OEGB . Not sure if it was this year or last. Someone told me and I forgot. I also got 2 black modern game pullets from the breeder that is only one of 3 master breeders of Moderns. and a pair of Birchen modern cockerels. I am so addicted to this breed!!!!! Now I need to downsize! The sales area was in a very inconvenient spot because it held up traffic (people) so perhaps next year it should be on one side of that enterance. IMO anyway! LOL
Otherwise there were some GORGEOUS birds to see!!!

My daughter, hubby, father-in-law and I had a fun time dropping by and seeing all the great entries. I even picked up a pumpkin OEGB cockerel, which I needed like a hole in the head, but he was just so beautiful. You know how it goes... Here are some pics. We tried to photograph so many others, but they just wouldn't stand still at all!

Hope all had a good time. I wish I could have gone. Probably just as well I didn't go if there were bantam favs for sale. I would have brought them home. The kids really miss little Cutie Pie! (bantam splash salmon hen)

Home and birds are settled back in their pens. It was soooo funny Bryant came out to help unload the jeep and saw the new Guinea Pig and he just said "That's NOT a Chicken", when Sarah called him earlier today she told him she didn't buy any new birds said nothing about about a GP

Oh yeah Cindy there were Fav Bantams there for sale, not sure who brought them

Oh awesome. Bill came up to me at the last minute I was leaving and sold me 2 girls from his show string! He knows I always ask him evry show if he is selling any and he said he was his only competition today! They are really sweet. One is laying already so I guess she is a hen then huh? I hope you have a great TG and remember what I am waiting for come springtime!! wink wink!!

Yes, I'm sure there will be one to spare maybe around congress time, still growing them out.
