The new (human) baby thread...

No baby, but I do have a toddler that I put in diapers at night still. The Walmart brand, which is Parent's Choice, has changed their diapers (I didn't use to like them). They are great now! And wayyyy cheaper -- $5.97 for a package. The price is great, but I'd still prefer them to the major brands. The store brands must be getting better -- another good one is the Meijer brand (Meijer is not nation wide, though) diapers. They are $6.95 for a package. Just thought I'd share!

My last baby is just hitting toddlers so she is not new but we still depend on diapers so I guess I qualify on this topic. I love target brand diapers. Kinda stinks that they are only in boy colors but they really have worked very well. I did not deal well with luvs. All of my kids have always been the types to go from dry to flooded in no time flat so I really can't handle a diaper that leaks when faced with that. I liked that they did bunch up like some other ones did too. I have a girl and the bunched up diapers looked awful even with her little tights over them.

What percentile is he in now? He is probably going to grow into a big man!

He was in the 75th at his 2-month. He doesn't have another appt until beginning of Dec. when he's 4 months, so not sure where he's at right now.

I don't think my little guy will ever catch up. Yesterday he was 10 lbs 7 oz at 13 weeks old..... We got the first RSV shot yesterday too.

I have become an expert at estimating shipping cost.... should I pack diapers too ???
I will send the 13 year old boy so you can teach him to be a good boy and not talk back to his momma....

LOL...package them both up and send them my way. I've got the diapers already so we can save on shipping there.

as long as the baby is healthy and consistent (not dropping down percentiles) I don't think it matters much, some people are bigger than others.

can anyone advise on teething? specifically teething without having to buy products to go on his gums. Drooling, restless, biting at everything, red cheeks... it's looking likely that he's teething, right? and I don't want to be rubbing chemicals into his gums...

Adorable! Don't feel bad...my friend's son is turning 1 this month and weighs 19 lbs. We joke that Wyatt will weigh more than him by the time he's 6 months old.
