Hi
I am from Iowa also, down near Knoxville. I am just subscribing also. I have black copper marans and Russian orloffs. Too cold to do any good with eggs right now.

We're paring down on some of our breeds... so come spring we should have:

Bresse
Turkens
Coronation Sussex
Orpingtons
Black Copper Marans (bred for egg color and not to standard)
Yokohamas (assorted colors)
Silkied Ameraucanas (the sikied gene and not a silkie cross)
Dark Cornish
Dorking and Dorking cross meat birds
Sebastopol geese
Embden geese
Muscovy
Giant Pekins

Would be very interested in some Turken (Naked Necks). I have a run with 1 rooster and 6 hens. Would like to find some to outcross. Hopefully you have non-frizzled stock. I try to stay away from frizzle in any breed, cant stand them.

Rhodebars

Swedish flower hens-uncrested roos over crested and uncrested hens

Black Orpingtons - bantams 50/50 English/American

Chocolate Orpington bantams 100% English-pen will be black split roo over chocolate hens

Porcelain d'uccle, not from a hatchery, came from winning show stock

Blue laced red wyandottes, large fowl

I could also do 3 eggs each of 2 breeds from above or pick two from below and above

coronation Sussex

Chocolate and chocolate mottled Cochin project eggsI removed the breeds I do not have or can not do eggs from in the spring. It will be middle to late spring on these eggs as my chicken barn has been destroyed between the snow and pests. I'm having to rebuild all new and in the process of this mess I lost all my chocolate Wyandotte hens and I lost all my CCL other than one lonely hen. I had to remove them from the list for that reason.
