Subscribing, no eggs until spring, all in a community pen for winter, north Iowa, you can't pay anything to lay with these temps! Multiple nights of negative temps and more of them to come!
I will have Lavender Orps, Lavender Americaunas, BLRW (drop dead gourgeous), RIR, and Silkies.
Oh, will Spring ever get here? I am cold and cranky!!!!

The other option I can offer is middle to late spring eggs/chicks. If you do chicks, you pay shipping and box fees. Your options for this would be as follows:
You would receive 6 eggs from one of these pens

Rhodebars

Swedish flower hens-uncrested roos over crested and uncrested hens

Black Orpingtons - bantams 50/50 English/American

Chocolate Orpington bantams 100% English-pen will be black split roo over chocolate hens

Porcelain d'uccle, not from a hatchery, came from winning show stock

Blue laced red wyandottes, large fowl

I could also do 3 eggs each of 2 breeds from above or pick two from below and above

coronation Sussex

Chocolate and chocolate mottled Cochin project eggs

I removed the breeds I do not have or can not do eggs from in the spring. It will be middle to late spring on these eggs as my chicken barn has been destroyed between the snow and pests. I'm having to rebuild all new and in the process of this mess I lost all my chocolate Wyandotte hens and I lost all my CCL other than one lonely hen. I had to remove them from the list for that reason.
