The businesses in town (including our golf course) just about shut down overnight when the season opened. People actually save up 2-3 weeks of vacation time to use for it.

Don't think either of us will ever get to that point but fishing might be fun (and quieter).

My boys hunt a little bit, deer, duck and goose...husband doesn't hunt at all. We are going to try ice fishing this year, makes me nervous! I like fresh fish though.
 
There's not enough winter clothing in the whole county to make me want to sit out on frozen water to fish...you're a brave soul DMC! My idea of fishing is a warm summer day with an ice cold drink in one hand, a pole in the other and catching a nap at the same time, lol.
