I think those quite edible…I bet they’re delicious with a cup of coffee.
Sounds like a great article, Mark!
Good morning, everyone! Playing catch-up here, as usual.
@bruceha2000 , Kendra certainly is a big girl now! She’ll be 11 in September. She still wears the shirt….now it actually fits as a shirt. It’s a little faded and worn around the hem, but it’s hers and she loves it!
@Madhouse Pullet , Thanks! I like that quilt, but certainly not enough to ever do another one like it! <shudder>
Saving coins pays off. We had a big plastic water jug that we started tossing loose change in. The other day when we dropped Tam off after we went to Cody, we ran in and grabbed the few things we still had left at her house - my guitars and mandolin, jewelry box, and jug of coins. Those were things we certainly didn’t want in the storage units. Ken stopped at the bank and got a bunch of coin wrappers, and the next day we got to work. We ran out of quarter wrappers so when we went to Walmart yesterday we picked up more and got the last ones wrapped. The result? $764.50. The orphan coins went back into the jug as “seed money”. Wow! Just wow!! Tomorrow we’re taking them to the bank and depositing them in our account. The box is so heavy we have to use Ken’s briefcase cart to move it!

X2!But, you have a pretty new house! I'd take that over a cruise any day![]()
@Madhouse Pullet I love snow, when it has all melted and gone![]()
That's a great idea, I've thought of doing that with old shirts, too. That looks awesome! I caught mine on something outside and tore it so I was going to tie dye it and use it as a grocery bag. I was wondering how it would turn out.
I have to Google that.Hi Marie.
Punky Brewster generation?

That sounds yummy too. What are the cupcakes? Thanks IM! Pretty or ugly, they'll be eaten. But just in case, I just got back from the grocery store with a back-up dessert: Tuxedo Cream Cake. Never had it before but DH is a chocoholic so he'll enjoy it.
I'm sure she will be!I hope she will be happy there.
Just because it is morning HERE (and when you posted a couple of hours before I got up) doesn't mean it is time for YOU to be up!!I can't sleep.
But technically it's morning so good morning everyone![]()
Um, I can imagine and I am NOT going to Google it!You all DON’T want to know what came up when I searched for that meme.
That is pretty neat!Did you hear about the guy who made an igloo?
DD1 babysat for a girl that chose mismatched socks. I saw here at the grocery store a couple of years ago. She was in High School and her socks matched. I asked he if she was illI mismatch socks on purpose ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Oh H3LL NO! That is WAY too much work. There is a coin counting machine at the larger credit union office. Dump the coins in, get a receipt out, take that to the teller, deposit done!Ken stopped at the bank and got a bunch of coin wrappers, and the next day we got to work. We ran out of quarter wrappers so when we went to Walmart yesterday we picked up more and got the last ones wrapped.
I had to do the coin thing when I worked at the bank those 4 days. It sucked even with a machine. It was disgusting and dirty. The pennies and dimes got jammed on a regular basis.Whoever wins! I really don't care a lick about professional sports. Especially the ones where people get massive millions of dollars contracts.
I'm sure she will be!
And there are people that understand her dementia and how to deal with it. And there are MULTIPLE people so it isn't all on you.

None of our banks have them. So this was the only way we were going to be able to get the jug emptied!I had to do the coin thing when I worked at the bank those 4 days. It sucked even with a machine. It was disgusting and dirty. The pennies and dimes got jammed on a regular basis.
