The NFC B-Day Chat Thread

Thanks Janie, I keep pedialyte on hand in the packets for hubs since he works outside often but this looks to be cheaper in the long run. I’ll add it to my next Amazon order so he can try them. I’m currently on a restricted sodium diet. The thought behind that is that it’ll keep me from having extra liquid in my ear, thereby preventing vertigo.
Did they determine that fluid in the ear is your problem?
An electrolyte imbalance can cause vertigo also, so be sure that you're getting enough potassium.

Yup, I eat good and take a multi vitamin a few days a week.

I know that fluid in my ear is a problem, and suspect it’s THE problem; I’ve had it for a long time and it’s worse when I’m sick or my allergies are bad. When I get a check up at the doc she’s never said anything about it so I assumed I’d just live with it so that’s what I’ve been doing and never mentioned it. Also had some hearing loss, sound sensitivity, and random tinnitus. The last vertigo attack was worse than any I’ve had before, only had two others, and now my tinnitus has changed to daily; it gets louder and lasts longer as the day goes. The American Tinnitus Association website says a low sodium diet will help, and if it’s Menieres then low sodium is also the recommendation. I haven’t ever really added a lot of salt to my food, but I did give up a lot of convenience items lately.
