Dying with laughter ....Well, it wasn't so bad....we were going back to eastern South Dakota for Thanksgiving and we figured if we ran into trouble on the road at least we'd have eggs and chicken. Take awhile to get a Brahma done over a Sterno can in a blizzard, but I suppose it could have been done! The only bad part of the trip was the occasional cecal poop. In a closed van with the heaters on that got a bit ripe!![]()

I have been out on some of those roads in dead of winter when a storm rolls in, and I always thought I was well-prepared but now think I should've started to keep chickens sooner (and in the car, just in case).

. Is the teenager the gal or guy coming back? Hoping you get some catering help, bet the upcoming season will be even busier than last year. RE: your post on the Old Books - it brought back a memory... we have biannual friends of the library sales that are awesome..but the last time I attended I caught the Norovirus and it was awful (almost all those working the sale got sick and hospitalized). I left those books alone for nearly a year before touching them
. I do so miss going to those sales, but can't make myself forget
. Guess it was the shed clean out, and hope you can rest awhile. I got DH to clear out the brooder area
e . Decided to just push all the garage junk out of the way and not do a REAL clean out ( that will take years) . But I did help a little and washed out the brooder and washed their water and feed vessels...no chick pics to show yet, so here's all l have so far:
