Good morning folks

TC Debbie is taking her time, sitting out in the ocean, increasing in severity and still making up her mind just where to cross the coast.

Latest predicted track map:

At this stage, 7AM tomorrow morning she will hit land as a Cat 4.

Just catching up on the all the posts .. thanks for the chuckles!

N F C your Easter Contest entry is beautiful! Good luck! I too am pleased you got some pics before the puddy cat(s) added their own decorative touches

sunflour I like your entry also, very pretty! .. good luck!

OHLD Sadly, no bunny rabbits allowed here in Queensland. The wild rabbit is considered to be a pest in Australia and Queensland has ruled that even keeping one as a pet is illegal. Apparently Queensland also has the toughest anti-rabbit regime in the world with penalties of $44,000 and 6 months in prison. Having said that, some take the risk and one lady even has a Vet who is willing to treat her “long eared guinea pigs” LOL.

J good luck in the comp. Bubbies are coming along nicely and starting to look like birds Sorry about your loss

Blooie sorry to hear that the dinner offerings were not the best. I do so hope that everything goes well for Ken and you this week.

My contribution to the Katie needs a bunny fund: Crazy Bunny Lady Starter Kit!

Those are exactly what I'm looking for, so adorable. Teila, you guys have too many invasive species. Suppose it be the same as a wallaby plague in the U.S.

This a 'model' of TC Debbie at the moment. Still predicted Cat 4 when she crosses the coast with winds of 240kmh [155mph]. The eye is about 100km [62miles] which is double the usual 50km-ish size eye meaning the range of areas affected will also be larger:

She is wobbling at the moment with the chance of continuing west, moving north west or south west. Moving very slowly and may be reaching the coast during the night or early tomorrow morning.

Current radar:

Some coastal towns are already seeing the effects. I watched some footage from south of hubby where it is quite blowy. Just got at e.mail from him and they are not feeling any affects as yet due to their stretch of the coastline being further west as per the screen shots.

My thoughts are with everyone in the Warning Zone

Sending prayers to all those in its path. :fl

Teila, thanks for the update. I'll be keeping those in the path of the storm in my thoughts & prayers.

@Teila as one who has been through more tropical systems than I can count since moving to a coastal community 34 years ago, I know that for most folks, they are a mess, a big mess, but nothing more than a mess. Still, I totally and completely understand the anxiety, and I will be praying for your loved ones (and you, too!) I am believing that we will all be heaving a big sigh of relief after the storm passes, gratefully acknowledging that it could have been much worse.

(And just for the record, no matter what you may have heard to the contrary, Bunnylady is not crazy!)
