Telia is most likely still sleeping. She is a couple of hours behind me and it's 7.40am where I am. I had a giggle when you called it her 'morning post' as it would've been her evening. Time zones - I try not to think too hard about them!
Good luck coming up with another edible idea. Just don't leave it where naughty kitties can taste test! Our two Ragdoll cats wouldn't touch human food with a barge poll. Our white, deaf, half blind moggie though - she'd try anything, if she could remember where the bench was!
It is early morning here and I am watching the coverage of TC Debbie. I understand that my cousin who lives in the path of the centre has been compulsorily evacuated, so hopefully that is the case and she is safe.
I have just heard from Hubby and FIL and they are doing fine and being north of the system, not feeling the effects but still in the warning zone and likely to be affected later this afternoon.
The towns in the direct path are copping a battering and it is probably still 5-6 hours before Debbie crosses the coast. She is still Cat 4 with some predicting Cat 5 when she does cross the coast.
Currently winds are 190 km/h [120 m/h] and near the core 265 km/h [165 m/h].
Storm surge has caused the evacuation of many low lying areas and flooding is going to be an issue over the next few days.
My thoughts are also with everyone in the path and I hope that everyone is OK
