Teila, I don't blame you at all for feeling sick, and the fact that she's stalled just makes it worse! Especially if she's gathering more energy as she languishes off the coast! I really feel for everyone it's going to affect, both directly and indirectly. So lots of sympathy coming at you...

Poor girl, she's either sleeping, packing up the house or working. None of which sounds like a lot of fun (other than maybe the sleeping part).

Selfishly I am jumping up and down for joy in that Hubby & FIL are well and truly out of the warning zone now and besides a bit of wind and lots of rain, all should be good.

Sadly, not so much for others who have had over an hour and a half of battering and still probably at least another hour and a half to go. She crossed as a Cat 4. Trees down everywhere some onto houses, yachts broken moorings and smashed into rocks, property damage, roofs off, power out and sadly one reported death due to the TC when there was a head on crash during evacuation yesterday and a passenger in one of the cars was killed

Flooding over the next few days is definitely going to be an issue for much of Central Queensland.

Anyways, I just also wanted to let you know that I have to work in the office for the next three mornings in a row so, due to time restrictions, will not be on line in the morning around the usual time you expect and did not want you to worry.

Thank you all so very much for your well wishes and support during what has been and still is for some, a scary few days!
