Wow-zer! You are so creative.
Debby, sorry about the employee issues, sounds like you'll end up with no more help than last year.

Blooie, I am not sure, but you may have created a monster. . . .![]()
Quote: *sigh* She takes after her mother (though not with those hands, thankfully). BB2K liked "Bunny Beach" so much, it has inspired her to try playing with fondant. I'm not sure what she's up to, but I'd say it needs a little work.![]()
Yes, it's the New Caledonia one - I think it's called cyclone Cook. That's just above us plus we have a low just to the west in the Tasman that's going to hit too. One town down the way did get flooded quite badly with the remnants of cyclone Debbie, but that was more because water was let out of the dam just before the rain hit! We are supposed to get thunderstorms tomorrow which should be exciting - we hardly ever get a good thunder storm. But that does mean it's hot and humid here again.J you have a cyclone heading your way? Which one was that? The New Caledonia one? I know it won’t be the one off our Northern Territory![]()
I agree with DD - doubt I could keep my hands from shaking to feed those tiny ones. Great pic.Yes, it's the New Caledonia one - I think it's called cyclone Cook. My two little baby finches are going strong and we are at about 4 days old (it might be 3, I can't keep track!) so things are looking good. They have been feeding really well today. So I'll have to think of a name for the other one. Little Minnow swallowed the fork tine so much today I could see it in his/her crop! That was a bit scary - I'd hate to perforate its crop.
My DD took this photo today as I fed the nameless one - it's not great but you get the idea. Just excuse poop and I can see a bit of cat hair! I try and move them onto a new sheet of handitowel only when I really have to because they are so tiny and so hard to grab hold of!
