Just in case I've never mentioned it, Katie LaVonne is absolutely awesome! We went out to get eggs, got sidetracked when we saw a duck in the clouds, and did a little cloud watching while we talked about the summer slipping by. Then it came up on another thread and even though it's been hours, talking about it still made me smile!

Kids made an offer on the mausoleum today. <sigh> Hope they don't live to regret it!

I dunno, Scott....haven't heard anything yet and kinda wish we would, unless she's recovering and not up to typing yet.

Yep, without water (lots of water), we're pretty dry and scrubby here. This is to show you what a bit of water will do to that WY desert:

This is the North Platte River that runs alongside our golf course (grass, wild flowers and trees...real trees!)

This shows our very well irrigated golf course against a butte (non-irrigated of course) in the background. Water...what a difference it makes!
 
Good morning all! Time for a Hattie picture:lol: Her ears finally came up so she looks like a shepherd...you'd think with ears that big she would be a good listener...we are working on that:rolleyes:I know she will be a good dog when we get beyond the puppy stage.

I have a bridal shower to go to today so did my cutouts, time consuming but I like to put smiles on peoples faces.

Hubby made me a target practice stand. He hits far more then I do. I can hit that big one but the little one is tougher! I'm trying though. Took the gator out last night about 10:30 and cruised the farm looking for fox but saw nothing. Both boys heard one in the night a couple days ago.
