The NFC B-Day Chat Thread

I'm jealous, we're still having hot weather here and won't see chilly til probably late October.

Hope you got those tubes out and are healing well.
As of yesterday I'm tube and staples free, I feel so liberated. Still have to wear a binder for a few weeks, but it's nothing compared to those gross tubes, which by the way we're creepy when they pulled them out, they were in 10 inches. Hopefully I haven't grossed anyone out.

Yikes! Those were some serious tubes! That would've freaked me out too. Hope you are feeling better and healing well.

Thank you. I'm getting along slowly. Tired a lot, but who doesn't enjoy sleeping long hours right? I'm taking it easy, I don't ever want to have to do that again, ever. That's the third time I've had my front cut open, third times a charm they say.

Keep up the bird pictures, I enjoy them, and seeing how they are doing.

Happy to oblige! I've been taking photos of them today. My DD's friend was over to play and she loved Squeak. I put Squeak in a cage a few days ago and gave her a box with a hole in the front. She was out pretty quick to check everything out. One of her older siblings fledged in the aviary today.

Pickle has started to calm down and lay quite happily in my hand today - before he would throw himself around and I was scared of dropping him.

And I was wrong about our dove. I went to put some quail eggs under her to find two huge white eggs already there, so Tilly can remain Tilly.

Glad you are improving and "behaving" :)
Yep, things come in threes so this should be the last time you'll have to go thru this.

photos of them today.

Pickle is looking good with those feathers coming in. Love Squeak's colors - have you had others with the pink/yellow feathers?

So Tilly is laying :)
