OHLD maybe you can't eat Elephant Ears & funnel cake both but, you could have half of each and share with a friend (hint, hint,) easy peasy
I do make my husband eat my leftovers. I wish portions weren't so big too.

You want to come over to central Wisconsin Diva for some fair food? My treat. Heartburn is my treat too.

funnel cake or elephant ears, can't eat both, oh and maybe some deep fried cheese curds.

I never even tried any of those when I used to attend the fair...but loved the corndogs:)
What are cheese curds?

Debby, that's great news that you are getting Sundays all to yourself! You've been working so hard.

I spent yesterday thinking my poor little Pickle was going to die. For some reason the temperature had shot up very high in his brooder (the bulb then blew on me - it was an old one). The poor little thing was panting and didn't want to eat. He was a bit perkier last night but still not eating a lot. He did listen to his mother last night - I told him I would see him in the morning, and please don't die and he is still alive (it's 5.30 am here). I'll try and feed him soon.

Squeak has decided she's a big girl and doesn't need her nest. I've had to give her perches and right at the top of her cage I've given her a hammock where she slept last night. She's so cute and cuddly at the moment.

OHLD, enjoy the fair. Sounds like there are some interesting treats to indulge in.

That is great news.
Cheese curds are made from fresh milk, and I believe are a Wisconsin original. They are soft, salty, and when bought warm are squeaky delicious. Remember little Ms. Tuffet eating her curds and whey, well get rid of the whey and enjoy the curds.

If not eaten fresh they are next best with a breading and being deep fried. If you ever make it up here to Wisconsin I highly recommend trying them. We live about 5 miles from the best cheese factory ever and you can even watch them make the curds. I of course love cheese.
