Got a couple pictures before the rain starts today: The Azalea's are blooming! We divided a huge over-grown mess of these in fall 2013 and they are finally starting to bloom, yay! Duck HQ update. Other than some trimming and securing in a few spots, DH has the fencing up:

Thank you! They almost bloomed last year but a late frost wiped the buds out. We've waited a long time to see these things flower, but it was worth the wait!

I've read that they can blossom for about 3 weeks if they don't get too much rain or a sudden drop in temps. We'll have to see how they do, since I've never had them before.

Of course, it's been pouring and we're supposed to get down into the 30's in a few days

. The pictures might be the only thing left in a week or so!

This is our 3rd winter here in north FL and so far it's happened several times each winter. Tonight it's predicted to get down to 37*.

Thanks for the encouragement everyone on the duck hq. There's a lot of work to do on it but by the time we're finished, I think the chickens are going to be green with envy . Heck, I might be too!
