The NFC B-Day Chat Thread

I was thinking maybe a week or two? How long would you recommend? I think I want to see some of the parks but also mountains and lakes and stuff.

If I were you, I'd take 2 weeks and explore something like Yellowstone National Park and/or Glacier National Park. Beautiful countryside!

Thanks for the info! So which do you recommend? coturnix?

I will have to consider going to NM or AZ.

Curious what you mean by your sinuses don't like Washington? As I have asthma though usually only when sick or in spring

Ohhh that makes sense.

I used to see pictures on blogs of people hiking with their dogs all over Washington, Oregon, and Idaho, and it seemed there were some cool lakes?
Yeah, i ordered Jean Marie Coturnix eggs. Another seller had some fancy colored ones i liked too but this seller was recommended.

But check into when they are open as a friend of mine went and they had closed for the season i think.

Yellowstone is open around the mid-May and most of it's closed sometime in September. I believe Glacier is about the same.

Checking their official websites is definitely the thing to do! And for anyone that wants to stay in one of the hotels in the parks, last I checked they start taking reservations around January (they fill up quickly).

That sounds like a good plan! I have always wanted to go but was worried it was too touristy or crowded haha

My mom loves Glacier and Banff

Any other cool areas tourists wouldn't think of?

Okay so not to be a pest but can somebody please explain to me the difference between the different types of quail listed on all these websites and which kind, if any, I would be legally allowed to keep? These are the only hatcheries I could find that sold quail. Most either didn't or only sold bobwhite which is illegal here without a permit. Maybe eBay is best? These minimums seem high and expensive if I buy the minimum but at this stage I am mostly just still doing research hah
