Yes, Tibetan, Texas A&M, pharaoh are different colours of the same bird. Why they don't have them all under one heading and you can choose which particular colour/s you want I'm not sure - that would be more straight forward. The other quail mentioned are very beautiful but need bigger enclosures and are more wild. Whereas the Pharaoh/Coturnix/Japanese are very domesticated so they can be kept in close quarters and are so laid back they are nearly horizontal (though you do get the odd aggressive one who likes to cause trouble) plus they lay a lot of eggs. And the babies are adorably fluffy and cuddly.

My little Button baby finally has a friend. He's spent the last two nights back in the incubator so that he doesn't yell all night and so he can give the other slow pokes a hurry up.

Those are probably illegal here anyway?

And I did find some on Craigslist. :)

Although I think it is anywhere between an hour to a few hours away. Another state but didn't look up exactly where yet.

But I am also in this local FB homesteading group so I'm thinking I might ask there. I'm sure somebody would know. :)

Plastic is better but more expensive usually.

You can get the plain genesis for $135.00 but the kit has turner and rails...along with coturnix quail eggs!

That makes sense. That kit does seem like a good deal considering you'd have to buy all that stuff anyway!

Maybe I will have to save up! And/or ask for one for a birthday present! Whether it's the Genesis or the IncuView or another. Maybe I could pay for part of it or something though
