Just heard from Tam a minute ago. She made it and is safely tucked into her room. She was a little shaken and she’s absolutely exhausted, but she’s safe. And she got a room just blocks from the courthouse so she plans to leave her car right where it is and walk back and forth. Now I just have to sweat her drive back, whenever that might be. If you guys could see the road between Shoshone and Casper, you’d understand why I was a nervous wreck. No towns, just post office stops, no services, one rest area near Moneta, where a few years ago a woman diving alone was kidnapped, tortured for days, raped repeatedly, killed and buried. He even buried her car, which is why it took so long to find it. Her parents took his property and burned it to the ground after his trial. I won’t even stop there with Ken, I’m so scared of that place.
