The NFC B-Day Chat Thread

It's always quiet here too. Just me except for when my son comes for a few days. He'll ask if I want to go out for lunch or dinner with him. Before I can answer, he'll say his buddy in Chicago just texted him so he's going out with him instead. :tongue
up home, our son usually works all the holidays so its always just us two, sometimes i mind but most of the time i don't , i never did like all the family and hoopla that goes with holidays, i like the peace and quiet
when i was growing up, momma always cooked and brothers and sisters and their families came, with the kids running around screaming, just couldn't take it so would eat then go to my room and shut the door, when i started dating husband, we would eat, then leave to go "get" a coke, anywhere that it was quiet. i like people, just not noise i guess, thankfully husband agrees with me, he doesn't like parties either, guess its true we're soul mates:D

My mom liked the hustle and bustle too Sharron. A lot of times we had to go see family out of state and that just added to the whole "bustle" factor. DH & I like having a quiet day just for the 2 of us...open a couple of gifts, have a nice breakfast, watch some Christmas movies, nap, whatever. It makes for a more restful, enjoyable day for us!

don't really like this sean, so sorry you're hurting, i know that can be a real witch, sure all of us at this day and time know what its like to be woken up with pain. i will say a prayer for you that it quits hurting, not sure it will help but maybe? if its arthritis, it will slack off after awhile, or at least mine has, its still there but not as bad:hugs:hugs:hugs:hugs:hugs:hugs
The doc told me he could stick a needle into the joint along with pain killer and dye. Do a CT scan to see if something's 'a miss' and at the same time if the pain killer didn't work then it isn't arthritis. This would be an in hospital procedure, so I declined the invitation. I'm not real sure that sticking a needle that deep into my pelvis wouldn't cause other problems. The nerves are already so messed up, I just don't want to chance having anything else go bad.

Ouch, that sounds painful! I don't blame you for declining that offer!

P.S. Good morning Sean :D
