Well that first part is true, I've been trying to read past some of those hoping it would mellow out. Apparently I missed the drama this morning that broke you.

I missed it too. I am very curious about it now but probably for the best that I missed it and it seems to be over.

If you check in the back of the room (just shove the sparkly b-day stuff out of the way), you'll find lots of fruit. And I know you make a killer frittata, so feel free to stow one back there...although, I can't guarantee it will stick around for long.

Tomorrow morning I'll try to get some video of her playing with Apollo and will post it. It makes me smile to watch them.
You read my post about her letting herself out the front door with Skittles on her heels because she didn't want to wait for me any longer? I'm glad it was cold that day and Fuji wasn't paying attention. Fuji took off on me once here and I think she shaved about 5 years off my life during the hour it took me to find her, 3/4 of a mile down the hill.

I get it about how they can scare years off by disappearing. Last winter I thought we had lost Opie (my main cat man) one night. A feral cat broke into the house (middle of night of course) and was eating the dry cat food. We woke up to the ultimate cat fight, my 3 were furious! The feral took off back out the cracked basement window, and we thought Opie had gone after him. Thankfully, he hadn't, he was hiding probably due to all the commotion DH & I were causing.

Stuff like that will scare a person for sure! (And the window was repaired. We hadn't even realized it was broken.)

That story reminds me of when we took Mogwai, Ben, Bridget, Abby and Fuji on a vacation to an isolated log cabin in WV with my parents who brought Skittles and Lady. I kept reminding my parents to shut the door so Fuji wouldn't get out. After we finished unloading the cars, I couldn't find Fuji. After unsuccessfully searching the house for her for 5 minutes I was in a full blown panic attack. Here we were in the middle of no where and Fuji doesn't know where she is either.
After running all over the property for about 15 minutes with everyone calling for her, I finally went back into the house and found her locked in the garage! She never made a peep and she must have heard us all screaming her name.
