What fabric are they using that would be tight enough to keep the virus out? Or are these just like regular surgical masks that would keep someone from spewing the virus (if they have it) into the air?
I'm not sure. I think they are surgical masks and they do sterilize them before use. Back in the day they used cloth masks all the time. Going to look it up, how to make them.

Good morning everyone. I saw that hospitals are asking people to sew masks for hospital personnel . There are directions for making them on the net I am sure. Some folks might want to make some for themselves.

Check deaconess.com. adult masks need to be 6"x9" for adults. 7.5"x5" child. Tightly woven 100% cotton. Two layers. 1/4" flat elastic.

Warning...rant ahead!

Can anything be more frustrating than dealing with a hospital that can't bill correctly?

My health insurance company is denying charges the hospital has been billing to them as an active worker's comp claim. There was an open and closed comp claim from 2017 which I was able to give the ins company the info on.

The hospital says they haven't billed my insurance company anything because they don't have anything about my insurer on file (even though I always gave them my ID card which they copied).

So if the hospital doesn't have a record of my insurance company, how did they mis-file claims to them as worker's comp? And the hospital says they also don't show an active w/comp claim anyway.

My head is spinning, this is so messed up. :barnie This is the sort of thing that drives me nuts.
