Well, I think I've done enough for today, with the storm last night-the winds were crazy and blew two buckets and a kiddie pool into the bamboo :( Slipping and sliding down the rocks, mud and bamboo branches trying to take me out, I finally got everything back by the gator. Thankfully we have to wait for the weekend to finish moving the mulch.
Hope everyone's day is good and uneventful.

Yes I've been hearing about the meat shortage as well. My freezer is pretty well stocked for now too. That comes from living on a farm as a kid and then dealing with earthquakes when I got older. We were always prepped for short term issues, ie a few months.

yes, if worse comes to worse, we're good for at least a year and if i can get the garden up and producing, longer, i have other types of things too, fish both frozen and canned tuna and if worse comes to worse again, can go fishing close by for fresh but the poor people that don't have anything but the grocery store will be up a creek without a paddle
