It is very dry. I had to start the sprinklers a couple of weeks ago.

I am going to take some butter out to soften for peanut butter cookies

And yet you are posting at 3:45 AM, your time. I wonder why you are tired ;)

What do you do with all that meat when you are in FL half the year?
nothing, since we have a butcher, they know how to wrap it, never had a piece of meat freezer burn yet and i still have some thats at least two years old, i'm using it before i start on the new beef, mostly roast left, sometimes i take a roast and cut it up into stew meat for soups or we also like it fried .

There was plenty of beef at the normal high prices here. The shortage must be regional so far.

Luckily CA closed early so we did not have too high of an infection rate yet
they're only allowing the shopper to get two packages of meat, theres eight commercial meat plants in the state and as you know, pa has been hit hard with the virus, so the plants are shut down, or low production

I do think you deserve a rest today after all of that
Good afternoon Ron, you have a great day
Yes, think I'll just do some easy stuff inside today, it's still nicer inside than out.

at this stage of the game i would be happy with it in the high 60's or 70's
i like heat, husband, not so much, i prefer it in the 80's for myself but will have to take what comes
I am a fair weather person, if I could find someplace that stayed around 70 to maybe 80 I would be so happy.

I guess where there's a will, there's a way!

I've always kept stuff on hand simply because I don't especially care to grocery shop and have almost always lived quite a ways from a grocery store.
i enjoy gardening and canning but as for shopping, that used to be our date day, couldn't tell you the last time we went to the movies or a real date but the older i get the more i hate to shop too and the stores are only about 7 or 8 miles from us, i think its the people, they're so rude anymore, alot of people have no manners what so ever anymore.

I hope the virus infections go down there soon!

its mostly in the larger citys, we live in a little town area, all the towns around us within 20 miles are kinda small, pittsburgh is about 45-50 miles from us so we do go out to the stores for things we have to have, medicine , dr visits, and while i can i do go to get fresh veggies every two weeks.
hoping people use their brains and stay safe,
if we got it, would be from our son, hes a cop and of course he comes over to see us every few days
ok, enough gloomy talk
going out to the greenhouse, bread and cookies cooling :frow
